Now, we met her again - full of energy and she was running across this long bridge in the park! It is so cute to see the little ones taking their first steps. Even though it was raining, we had a lovely time in the park and came home with some gorgeous photographs!
Lifestyle Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 17:21 May I introduce Miezer! This is the stray who adopted me a few months ago. He looked horrible, fur all dirty and full of fleas! After a few tins of Tuna and his favourite Felix cat food, and lots ot TLC he has developed into a beautiful tom who doesn't leave my side. He is very interested in the contents of our fridge and after a lot of persuasion, he now uses a scratch post rather than our armchairs to sharpen his claws.
He is the sweetest little cat with such a quiet nature!
Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 21:10 Yesterday, we took photographs at a wedding in the Scottish Borders - lots of reportage style images, today we took some urban shots in a quiet industrial estate, this was rained off after 20 mins... Then we had wonderful sunshine for a quick family gathering in the park, and late afternoon, we were back for another attempt at some more urban photographs: with success! We took some amazing images - ever so slightly different!
We only managed to get a few shots of Cheryl as the weather was against us, but she will be back with us soon...
We had more luck with Edyta this afternoon. The rain stayed away and we achieved some fantastic images of this gorgeous looking girl.

Her brother Oscar was there too and was happy to be captured on camera.

Lifestyle Monday, August 3, 2009 at 15:40 Little Beau is about to turn 3 years old and his mum and gran wanted to have a lovely selection of images of this energetic little boy. We took him to a local park and enjoyed an afternoon together.
When we meet up with a family, and take photographs of the children, we try not to pose them. Instead we have fun, chase through the park or throw stones in the river. The photographs we achieve this way are much more natural and the children soon forget they are being photographed.
Especially young children find it difficult to sit still for any length of time. So we'd rather watch them when they discover the bugs and beasties in the pond or chase butterflies.

Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 19:48 Sarah and Jamie said "I do" yesterday at their romantic wedding in Edinburgh's Apex Hotel. It was a fantastic day, and even though it was raining in the afternoon, everybody had lots of fun! But we have to wait until they are back from their honeymoon to reveal their stunning wedding photographs!
This little girl enjoyed the celebrations too and was only too happy to pose for a photograph!

Radio Clyde’s Suzie McGuire was a fantastic host, bringing glamour and hilarity to the day. Guests received a fabulous goody bag, including L’Oreal and Gu products, beauty vouchers and all the latest gossip in No.1 magazine.
This was followed by a sumptuous lunch before guests had the chance to win fantastic raffle and auction prizes. One of the highlights was a special prize from Michelle Mone, a guest on the day, who donated Ultimo lingerie for a year, as well as a personally designed and fitted lingerie set which raised a staggering £3000.
During the event, over £13,000 were raised to help vulnerable children.
I had the honour to cover the event in photographs for the charity and donated a prize too which raised over £150 for the charity!

Charity Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 21:47 Last night, we enjoyed Bruce Springsteen's concert in Glasgow Hampden Park together with over 50,000 fans! It was amazing, awe-inspiring, simply fantastic. Bruce has been on the go since the 1970s, and he is still going strong, playing non-stop for 3 hours. 28 amazing songs - old and new - and he created a party atmosphere which was second to none!
If anyone needs inspiration - you get loads of it at one of his concerts!

Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 12:17 Congratulations to Regis and Donna who were married in St Lucia about 2 weeks ago. They celebrated their wedding with friends and family in Alloa at the Dunmar House Hotel in Alloa. Donna's gorgeous dress was provided by the Bridal Studio in Dollar. Of course, their dog Troy was part of the celebrations and was very well behaved in front of the camera!
At every wedding in Scotland, you are likely to see a lot of kilted guests. Doesn't he look great??
